Workshop: Dried January Botanical Wall Art

We called this art piece "Dried January" because it uses a multitude of dried greenery and dried flowers. But we all know that Seattle is anything but dry! So come in and dry off from the rain and admire the beauty of plants in their second stage of life: dried. In this three-hour hands-on workshop you will create a work of floral art that you can put up on a wall in your home or office, or anywhere that could benefit from the beauty of flowers.

Students will get to choose from an array of dried flowers, dried greens, and a few silk blooms. All students will receive a 2-foot by 1-foot wooden framework for their wall art. Holly Yee will facilitate step-by-step instructions on creating the Dried January Botanical Wall Art from start to finish.

All materials will be provided and floral tools will be available for use during the workshop. Coffee, hot tea, and fizzy water will also be available at the HYFA floral studio for participants to enjoy.

This workshop holds up to 8 participants. Please note that payment is due in advance to guarantee your spot. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another workshop with at least 7 days notice.
